Difference of frictional heating and electrical heating for the EPS densifier

EPS styrofoam densifier uses both electrical heating and frictional heating to melt and recycle expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam waste.

Electrical heating is achieved by using heating elements, usually made of metal sheets, which are embedded in the walls of the melting chamber or in a separate heating block. These heating elements are connected to an electrical power source and generate heat by converting electrical energy into thermal energy. The heat generated by the heating elements is transferred to the EPS foam waste, causing it to melt and become a liquid.

Frictional heating, on the other hand, is generated by the mechanical action of an auger or screw that compresses and pushes the EPS foam waste through the melting chamber. As the EPS foam waste is compressed and pushed through the chamber, friction is created between the material and the walls of the chamber and the auger. This friction generates heat, which helps to melt the EPS foam waste and keep it in a molten state.

Frictional heating

Frictional heating EPS recycling machine is in demand now in the market and Myaid Machinery can supply the recycling machines.
